Verbal Picasso Art forms and Daughters

As you know this week is both St Valentine’s day and preparation for the Mardi Gras parades , Fat Tuesday and ash Wednesday here on the Island . I was trying to develop some type of story but decided just to wait until after this weekend’s mis-adventures, but I made a list of the words of wisdom or wit that have rolled out of my mouth over the past couple of days to the 3M’s [ I still can’t believe the garbage that comes out all mixed up somewhat  like a verbal Picasso art form]

On yourself image:

In order to be someone, you must first be yourself.

Alter your attitude and you can alter your life.

Always laugh when you can. It is cheaper than medicine…

On your career choices:

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give

On relationships [fathers are excluded from this one]:

Men are like roses , watch out for all of the pricks

On people you may encounter or work with:

Half of the people in the world are below average.

On stumbling blocks to happiness:

The more anger towards the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of loving in the present

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

On love:

The sound of a kiss is not as loud as a cannon but its echo last a lot longer
